Alice is seven-year-old girl protagonist of the story. She believes that the world is orderly and stable, and she has an insatiable curiosity about her surroundings. One day she follows the White Rabbit down a well and pursues him through a strange world ruled by imagination and fantasy. Wonderland challenges and frustrates her perceptions of the world.




Activity 1:  Choose your favourite Alice in Wonderland Quote and explain whose quotation was, in which context was said and which was the meaning. You can find some ideas here or you can select your own.



Activity 2: Choose a character and create a fake Instagram profile. Add a picture and describe his/her features and personality. Make, at list, three entries on the profile.
The character can be taken from the book or Tim Burton’s film.

Activity 3: Discuss the questions in groups:

1. How did the critics respond to Burton’s creation?

Galileo Galilei Webquest By Eugenia Segurado

Galileo is a young astronomer and scientist who teached at university. He had the amazing theory that planets moved arround the sun. This was a revolutionary idea because everyone used to think that the sun, the moon and the planets moved arround the earth.
A collegue of him is very jealous and when he finds out what Galileo was up to, he wants to destroy him!
Luckily Cosmos and Leira Green are there to help him.
